MEET ADOLPHUS "SCOTTIE" SCOTT
As a North Carolina native, Adolphus Scott’s musical journey began in his adolescence. While singing at individual local churches and surrounding events, Scott’s undeniable musical abilities were further influenced and cultivated by participating in a variety of musical opportunities and expressions. His growing passion for music led him to Elizabeth City State University, where he met his wife, and they both earned their Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music. Adolphus's formal education and love for all genres of music has been the catalyst that has developed his versatile and authentic vocal and songwriting ability.
Mr. Scott has been afforded the opportunity to share the stage with notable gospel artists such as Earnest Pugh, Isabel Davis, Todd Galberth, Ricky Dillard, and more.
Other industry accomplishments include co-writing (Adolphus Scott) the #1 Billboard Gospel single “So Good” for Keyla Richardson (Sunday Best Season 9 Finalist) as well as three other songs from her latest EP. Adolphus has had the opportunity to write for other Billboard charting and emerging artists as well. Whether on stage or in a studio, Mr. Scott seeks to encourage others by merging music with a message of love, hope, and faith that captivates the ears and hearts of all who listen.
